This is just a close up look of a couple techniques that I used in the project, I always like to find new things to add to my pages and I like to create little clusters on my full page layouts, for this one found some metallic thread and just wound it round my fingers a few times then attached in under a couple of pieces of die cuts and a wood veneer that I got from the Works. I think they are similar to some that Studio Calico do. Which actually i don't think I've used the thread since this layout so I will have to dig it out again haha.
Which I believe I don't think I've done the second one since this card either, I die cut out some letters using a set of dies that I got from The Range (cant remember what they are called but I know they are by xcut) I then just glued them down and used my sewing machine to sew through the middle of the letters just gives it a bit of texture and interest. Then I just added a couple of Tim Holtz tiny word stickers and a couple of wood veneer hearts.
